Almost 2 years with Nicholas

Can you beleive that it has been almost 2 years since Nicholas joined our family. Its like he has always been a part of us. His speech progress is amazing despite that he will need another surgery this winter. He says 4-5 word sentences abd it come sout pretty clear. He is getting taller but still not gaining weight. The drs dont seem concerned as it is just an effect of being so mal-nourished when we brought him home. He starts kindergarten this Fall and he can't wait to ride the big boy bus!!! He is so smart and seems to be very mechanical minded as he has to figure out how everything works. Attatched is a picture of his preschoold graduation. We are just so blessed to have him.

Hi there,
I managed to find your blog in a google search of blogs--my daughter was adopted from Novosibirsk in May of 2000. She's 11 now and doing great! I also have a yahoo list for people who have adopted --or will be adopting from Novosibirsk. It has over 400 members. It connects us all--we share stories, information, pictures--and one day maybe it will help our children link with one another. They may even find birth siblings or best friends left behind. If you're interested in joining, here is the link.
